It is a great honor to welcome you to Boston University’s Beta Chapter of Phi Gamma Nu.
Over the past three years, we have built meaningful relationships with esteemed BU faculty, Phi Gamma Nu chapter leaders, and accomplished industry professionals. What began as an ambitious idea has grown into a community defined by drive, collaboration, and a shared commitment to becoming tomorrow’s leaders.
Phi Gamma Nu (PGN) is a national, entrepreneurship-focused, co-ed professional development organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in business and beyond. With chapters across the United States and an expansive alumni network spanning numerous industries, PGN empowers its members to pursue meaningful careers and make lasting impacts. At Boston University, we welcome students of all majors, bringing together unique talents, experiences, and perspectives. Whether you aspire to build a company, enter an established industry, pursue a creative field, or forge an entirely different path, PGN is a place to challenge yourself, learn from those around you, and turn ambition into action.
Founded in 1924 at Northwestern University as a sorority, PGN evolved into a co-ed business fraternity and later into the co-ed professional development organization it is today. Bringing PGN to Boston University reflected that same spirit of growth and possibility. With BU no longer approving new fraternities, we were told the likelihood of recognition was slim. Yet through persistence, vision, and the dedication of our founding members, Phi Gamma Nu officially became a recognized organization at Boston University in the fall of 2024.
That journey continues to shape who we are today. At Phi Gamma Nu, we believe ambition should never be limited by your major, your background, or where you begin. We encourage our members to challenge themselves, think boldly, pursue what excites them, and create opportunities beyond what they once thought possible. Think differently. Dream boldly. The possibilities are limitless.
